  Silly Putty

  Silly Putty, has been amusing both kids and adults since 1950. We have it in the original red plastic egg. Silly Putty is a very unique substance. It stretches without breaking, yet it can be "snapped off" cleanly. It bounces higher than a rubber ball. It floats if you shape it in a certain way, yet sinks if shaped in other ways. It can pick up pencil marks from pages and comics from some newspapers. If you slam it with a hammer, it keeps it's shape, yet if you push with light, even pressure, it will flatten with ease.   My husband loves that I have learned so many models and years of cars just from buying die-cast toy cars for the past 18 years. My personal favourite that we sell are the 1950's corvette convertibles, early 1900's fords, Plymouth prowler, and the 1960's Cameros ... oh the list goes on. Our inventory is constantly changing so if you don't see what you want just put your name in our request book so we can search for it. The cars are either pull-backs or free-wheeling. Delicate "chrome" mirrors and tires that can be removed mean that I would not recommend most of them for under 6. The rubber band racer with the great retro package is also age 6+..
